Cars: Not up to scratch?

I feel that one of the most recent Disney/Pixar collaborations, Cars, was not up to their usual standards. Though it did enterain it did not possess some of that Disney magic that can so easily be found within other Disney films. The main protagonist, Flash Lightning, was annoying and the viewers could not relate to the character, the character of Doc was not given enough screen time to fully explain his character. It is just briefly passed by without much explanation. For the younger viewers that this film would have originally been made for, it may not be apparent to them what is going on which means their parents, or whichever adults watch the film with them, then has to explain what has happened. Thus ruining the film for others by talking over it. Some of the scenes seemed pointless and had no humour or much relevance to the plot. Though some bits were amusing and had me laughing in places, the film in general is not up to the usual standards of Disney or Pixar.
Dexter Review

USA, Miami. Meet Dexter, a normal man with a normal job, well not everyone would call a blood-spatter analyst a ‘normal’ job, but still. He lives his life working with his foster sister Deborah, a cop, at the Miami police station. He also has his girlfriend, Rita, who had been abused by her previous husband. He seems to live a normal life…..Right??
You see Dexter has a nice little secret hobby, he’s a serial killer.
Not so normal any more is he.
